Clonmel
is situated on the river Suir in south Tipperary. Clonmel
is a busy and expanding commercial town and it is the
principal shopping town in south Tipperary. The traditional
shopping district is located in and around Gladstone St
and Parnell St and the Streets adjacent to them. Clonmel
is a town whose shops cater for all tastes and boast many
big name stores such as Boots, Lifestyle Sports and Dunnes
Stores. Clonmel also contains two shopping malls and a
new shopping development outside of the town.
Clonmel
has many places to eat through out the town. Many different
